The Best Chefs of the Year: Live and in Person!

This Saturday, as part of SF Chefs, sit down to a roundtable with San Francisco's Best Chefs of the Year. Figs on plates will not be discussed. Buy your tickets now.

Stuart Brioza and Nicole Krasinkski, the most celebrated couple of the year, will be joined by James Syhabout, Brett Cooper, and more.

This Saturday afternoon, as part of the week's ongoing SF Chefs celebrations and seminars, I'll be sitting down for a roundtable discussion with our Best Chefs of 2013, including Brett Cooper (Outerlands), Stuart Brioza and Nicole Krasinski (State Bird Provisions), and James Syhabout (Commis, Hawkers Fare). The topic? The state of dining in San Francisco. This group is a smart bunch with a lot to say. Buy your tickets here before they sell out!

Go-to drink order?
A negroni on the rocks, white wines from the Loire Valley. And I’m always trying different lagers on tap.

White pepper and distilled white vinegar. Both are underrated and awesome.

Pho King in Oakland. Get the bun bo hue.

Tacos from the Tacos La Perla #2 truck in West Oakland across from the BART Station.

Ishikawa in Tokyo looks magical.

For lunch: Saigon Sandwich, and for dinner, Old Mandarin Islamic Chinese.
