Camouflage opens at Hagedorn Foundation Gallery on Jan. 5. Photographers Kristine Potter (a UGA alum) and Jeremy Chandler come together for a two-part exhibition in the space. If you miss the Jan. 5 opening, the gallery will host an artists’ reception on Jan. 12 from 6-8:30PM and an artists’ talk on Jan. 14 from 1-2PM.
Both photographers use male subjects to raise questions about feminizing masculinity in a way that impacts both sexes. The exhibit’s subject matter is described as: “Both photographers deal with the male’s mythological role in society, based on historically tough, unemotional performance and appearance.”
