Atlanta’s Center for Puppetry Arts is honoring Black History Month with its production of Ruth and the Green Book from Feb. 7-26. The story follows an 8-year-old and her family traveling through the Jim Crow-era South. Eventually, they find The Green Book, which is a travel guide for African Americans that tells them of the places they are welcome in an otherwise hostile environment.
