Culture vultures will love our lineup of this week’s happenings—sure to satisfy your mind and your stomach.

Eat Smart
Have your pick among historic Roswell’s top restaurants during the inaugural Historic Roswell Restaurant Week from Jan. 14-22. Each participating restaurant—INC Street Food, Nine Street Kitchen, Sugo, Table & Main, Salt Factory and The Fickle Pickle are all on board—will have a specialty prix-fixe, three-course menu for the occasion. roswellrestaurantweek.com

Art Smart
Check out a free photo exhibit at Emory University that started earlier this week and runs until May 31. The Mind's Eye is a photo exhibit of Myron McGhee's photographs of Tibetan monks painting sand mandalas. The monks are simultaneously creating a wonderfully artistic mandala out of sand while devoting their minds to meditation for the healing of the earth. Book Smart
The crew at Atlanta Contemporary Art Center is releasing a book that focuses on the issues that affect art-making and the marketplace. The Art Life: On Creativity and Career is available for purchase on Jan. 15 via their website and the book features many of the contributors that have taken part in exhibitions and programs at ACAC over the last five years. Hear from the visual artists, curators, dealers, writers, musicians, architects, actors and educators on all that goes into making their particular genre of art. $25. thecontemporary.org
