Give Smart: Philanthropy That Gets Results, the title of a new book by renowned non-profit advisors Thomas J. Tierney and Joel L. Fleishman, served as the theme as well as a table favor for each guest at a luncheon and discussions with the authors held recently at the Piedmont Driving Club. Attended by over 200 of the city's philanthropic, business, and civic leaders, the event was hosted by Jack Sawyers and Bill Schwartz of sponsor Wilmington Trust, while Wilmington Trust's Tom Rogerson moderated the discussion and subsequent question and answer session.
