There was no shortage of smoke at Snowmass Base Village on the Saturday of the Food & Wine Classic as chefs built their fires and roasted everything from whole lamb, goats, pigs and ducks to foie gras, seafood and heirloom vegetables. In addition to more than 3,500 pounds of fire-kissed meat roasted en plein air, Cochon555's annual Heritage Fire event boasted an impressive selection of wine, beer and whiskey. Sun-kissed guests enjoyed the beautiful weather against a stunning mountain backdrop as they washed down these decadent bites with refreshing drinks.
