On March 24, Carrie Steele-Pitts Home presented the 130th Anniversary Honors Gala at Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta, which was hosted by acclaimed actress Victoria Rowell, best known for her roles in The Young and the Restless and Diagnosis: Murder. Atlantans were serenaded with live music by Grammy award-winning saxophonist Branford Marsalis, who was joined by leading jazz pianist, Joey Calderazzo. Special honorees included Kibebe Gizaw and Laura Turner Seydel, with tributes paid to Dr. Horace E. Tate and Amanda Davis. Sought-after live auction items like a Mercedes AMG Driving Academy Experience for two, a Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta Weekend Package for two and a package to The Spa at the Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta sent the fundraising amount climbing toward the night’s goal of $500,000. What a night!
