The InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta was buzzing with A-list philanthropists for the Captain Planet Foundation’s Benefit Gala.
THE PARTY Known as Atlanta’s largest environmental education fundraiser, the 26th annual Benefit Gala was headlined by Avengers star Mark Ruffalo, renowned animal photographer Joel Sartore and 13-year-old Young Superhero for Earth award recipient Ta’kaiya Blaney. The Friday-night gala featured a cocktail reception during which Atlantans mingled with the guest list’s celebrity crowd and civic leaders; noshed on appetizers courtesy of Ted’s Montana Grill and a vegan dinner inspired by chef Linton Hopkins; and placed their bids during the auctions that really got the crowd on their feet.
