The Forward Arts Foundation raised a glass to the silver anniversary of its fashion show and luncheon.
THE PARTY Supporting the visual arts since its inception in 1965, the Forward Arts Foundation honored a praiseworthy milestone of 25 years with its iconic fashion show and luncheon. From Givenchy and Chanel to Carolina Herrera and Prada, iconic labels have graced the runway at this highly anticipated event, and this year was no different: Oscar de la Renta’s spring 2018 designs were showcased on the catwalk as the afternoon’s audience enjoyed sips of pink Champagne and bites of deconstructed panna cotta. THE GUESTS Co-chair Aimee Chubb, Liza Jancik, Karen Spiegel, honorary chair Susan Tucker, Cathie Wilson THE HIGHLIGHTS Over 550 guests waltzed into The St. Regis Atlanta’s Astor Ballroom while swooning over the space’s shimmering decor. Atlantans welcomed the spirit of giving as they graciously donated to the visual arts in Atlanta through the programs of the Forward Arts Foundation. Says event co-chair Duvall Fuqua, “Oscar’s spring collection was breathtaking; The St. Regis absolutely beautiful; and a sellout crowd of sponsors, patrons and guests had an incredible time!” -Katherine Woody
