After being diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma nearly 10 years ago and a (thankfully) speedy recovery, Tiffany Terranova began the search for a safe alternative to add a sun-kissed glow to her fair skin. “I decided to start experimenting with the art and science of a good spray tan, and before I knew it, we had a little business that popped up in our guest room in Inman Park,” says Terranova of Raw Bronzing Studio’s humble beginnings. Terranova opened Raw’s first brick-and-mortar in 2011, and a short five years later, her bronzing biz now has two locations, 10 employees and plans to open a new shop on Atlanta’s northside in the near future. Here, Terranova, who recently moved to a farm (“let’s be real; we have no idea what we’re doing,” she admits of her new role as farmer extraordinaire) in Chattahoochee Hills with her husband and four foster children, spills on her summer essentials.
