Colman Domingo

Award-winning actor, director, producer and playwright Colman Domingo was a vision in blue at this year’s Met Gala, donning an expertly tailored suit with an oversized, glistening collar. His ensemble came with not one but two looks as he made a quick change to a pearl-topped blazer, a polka-dotted handkerchief tie and a floral brooch.

Demi Moore

Topping off a year of significant accomplishments, Demi Moore took to the Met Gala red carpet in a head-turning architectural gown marked by bold lines and a soaring, dramatic headpiece. Moore’s avant-garde look was paired with silver drop earrings, matching bangles, a sleek bun and a smoky eye. 

Doechii

Grammy Award-winning artist Doechii made a grand appearance at the Met Gala, draped in a matching Louis Vuitton set designed by Pharrell Williams. Comprised of trouser shorts, a matching coat and tails, her look was topped off with a Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany & Co. brooch and ring. She also wore a Tiffany Eternity watch and shimmering Tiffany earrings with two fancy yellow diamonds of over 4 carats.

Jenna Ortega

Actress Jenna Ortega stepped out onto the red carpet wearing a custom Balmain sheath dress designed by Olivier Rousteing, crafted entirely from silver metallic rulers. Inspired by the “Tailored for You” dess code, the bustier gown evokes Balmain’s signature blend of classic tailoring and modern, bold design, while incorporating a timeless tailoring essential: the ruler. Ortega paired her look with matching Christian Louboutin pumps, silver Hearts on Fire earrings and assorted silver rings.

Jeremy O. Harris

Renowned playwright, actor and screenwriter Jeremy O. Harris graced the red carpet wearing a custom Balmain look. A member of the Met Gala Committee, Harris served as an essential influence on this year’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” His look, which pays homage to Black dandyism, is inspired by Black jockey James Winkfield and evokes the Belle Époque era with a sleek blue satin jacket and white grain de poudre trousers. He topped the look off with a cotton poplin shirt adorned with a lavallière bow and a formal plastron. 

Janelle Monáe

Singer, songwriter, rapper, producer and actress Janelle Monáe made a statement at this year’s Met Gala with a black, red and white pinstripe suit with extra-broad shoulders. Her eye-catching look was complemented by a bowler hat with a clock monocle and a gleaming diamond brooch. The statement piece was crafted by jewelry designer Jonathan Raksha, who brought the 5.5-carat emerald-cut stone to life from 1800 Cristalino tequila.

Miley Cyrus 

Pop icon Miley Cyrus channeled grunge rock with her Met Gala outfit. She paired a custom Alaïa by Pieter Mulier getup with Cartier jewelry, including a sparkling three-ring necklace. Her long-sleeve leather crop top was complemented by a tailored, pleated suit. 

Pharrell Williams 

As a Met Gala co-chair and the creative director of Louis Vuitton, Pharrell Williams dressed to impress for this year’s event. With his wife, Helen Lasichanh, by his side, the rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and fashion designer floated onto the red carpet wearing a double-breasted blazer crafted with 100,000 pearls. Designed by Williams himself, alongside his team at Louis Vuitton, the outfit took over 980 hours to create.

Sabrina Carpenter

The pop star behind hits like “Espresso” and “Bad Chem” unveiled a daring ensemble featuring a Louis Vuitton blazer with a flowing train and dark red pinstriped bodysuit. Carpenter’s no-pants look was paired with matching sky-high heels and a vampy lip. 

Teyana Taylor

Singer-songwriter and actress Teyana Taylor paid tribute to this year’s theme with a custom ruby red Marc Jacobs getup. Inspired by the iconic zoot suit, her outfit consisted of a floor-length cape and coat, a striped suit, a plumed hat and a cane—all of which were topped off with a feathered cap and durag. 

Zendaya 

Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress, singer and fashion icon Zendaya returned to the Met Gala this year, adorned in a white, three-piece Louis Vuitton zoot suit designed by Pharrell Williams. A co-chair from last year’s event, the star paired the look with red nails and her east-west engagement ring, designed by London jeweler Jessica McCormack.
