“We met for a drink at the Viceroy and the rest is history,” said the bride in an Amsale Gown from The White Dress in Corona del Mar.

Hotel Bel-Air’s iconic Swan Lake set the stage for the bride and groom to exchange vows in front of 180 family and friends.

The bride’s purple bouquet mirrored the wedding motif.

Towering purple tulips, roses, orchids and hydrangeas by The Hidden Garden enhanced the rich purple hue of the custom-lit ballroom.

The couple’s love for their miniature dachshund, Sasha, was manifested in this ice sculpture by Ice Bulb.

Event coordinator Julie Pryor loved that the four-tiered strawberry and almond cream cheesecake by Fantasy Frostings was detailed beautifully to match the bride’s Amsale gown.

The Couple
Choe graduated from Harvard and Choi from Yale, but the Ivy League rivalry couldn’t keep these two from falling in love.

The Venue
Hotel Bel-Air’s plush greenery turned out to be the perfect backdrop for the intimate wedding.

The Details
Elegant white roses and hydrangeas covered the gazebo beside the iconic Swan Lake. For the reception, the ballroom was decorated with vibrant purple flower arrangements and lighting.

The Party
Following four courses from resident chef Wolfgang Puck, the couple and their guests danced the night away to lively tunes by the 10-person band, Masta.
