Bridal Sign Up

Lindsey Kracum & Ryan Mineburg

May 10, 2014 | Ceremony & reception: Bandy Canyon Ranch

Lindsey’s stunning Monique Lhuillier dress stood out amid the scenic backdrop.

Lindsey’s bridal bouquet was a mix of roses, peonies, succulents, hydrangeas and lavender.

The day wouldn’t have been complete without the couple’s dogs, Parker and Milo, who donned matching doggie bow ties from Etsy.

Twiggs Bakery created a four-tiered wedding cake with strawberries and cream, red velvet, Miss Hazeltine’s fillings and buttercream icing. Lace and flowers reflecting the table settings coordinated with the overall decor scheme.

After the ceremony, the couple joined guests at wooden tables bedecked with vintage lace runners, mismatched plates, lanterns and classic floral centerpieces. Some of the bride’s flea market finds were sprinkled throughout the party.

THE COUPLE
Introduced by mutual friends In 2007, Lindsey Kracum and Ryan Mineburg’s relationship took several months to develop into a romantic one. On a family trip to Vietnam in December 2012, little tips, like everyone being told to dress up for dinner that night and there being Champagne (Lindsey comes from a family of wine drinkers), piqued her suspicion, but her heart still pounded when Ryan got down on bended knee and popped the question.

THE PARTY
The outdoorsy duo decided on a rustic-chic affair at the Bandy Canyon Ranch, where guests could “glamp” on-site for the weekend. They opted for simple, elegant colors that wouldn’t distract from the beauty of the venue and incorporated a custom “R+L” symbol in everything from the striped straws made for sipping lavender lemonade upon arrival to the cake table. The biggest hits of the day? A photo booth and a travel book where guests could share insider tips with the globe-trotting couple.

WHAT THEY LEARNED
“Just try and take it all in,” says Lindsey. “You’ll get caught up and overwhelmed by all of the love and attention, but try and escape for a moment, just the two of you.”

THE HONEYMOON
The adventurous couple chose Belize for its stellar scuba dive sites, bunking at Gaia Riverlodge, Matachica Beach Resort and Hamanasi Adventure and Dive Resort.
