Bridal Sign Up

Stephanie Tidmarsh-Duarte & Cameron White

October 10, 2014 | Ceremony & reception: Viansa Winery and Marketplace

Cameron, looking dapper in a Vera Wang tuxedo, kisses his beautiful bride among the vines at Viansa Winery.

The ceremony at this wine country wedding took place inside a wine cellar.

The head table was made up of three farm tables pushed together, topped with a lace runner, mercury candleholders and flowers.

Katrina Rozelle Pastries & Desserts designed a simple three-tier cake in the couple’s favorite flavors: red velvet, carrot cake and dark chocolate raspberry. The elegant cake was finished with real flower accents matching the bridal bouquets and centerpieces. Guests raved that it was the best wedding cake they’ d ever had!

Delicate pastel bouquets burst with white garden roses, dahlias, freesia, gray berries, anemones and dusty miller.

THE COUPLE
One rainy Sunday morning, under the guise of lunch plans, Cameron White whisked Stephanie Tidmarsh-Duarte up to Napa from their home in San Ramon. When they pulled up to Sullivan, one of their favorite wineries, and were greeted with glasses of rosé, Stephanie knew that something was up. Cameron popped the question after he and Stephanie, who have known each other since high school, were escorted into a private tasting room overlooking the vineyards. After a speechless pause, she said yes.

THE PARTY
For an elegant effect, the couple chose neutrals in shades of champagne and soft pink, set against the verdant backdrop of Sonoma’s rolling vineyards. White garden roses, dahlias and anemones filled bouquets and centerpieces, which also featured sprigs of mint. Each table setting was finished with a small olive branch, and guests were gifted keepsake jars of olive oil that matched the design of their invitations. But the most memorable detail was the red velvet groom’s cake in the shape of a Steelers football helmet.

WHAT THEY LEARNED
“Remember that it is your day to celebrate your love and commitment,” says Stephanie. “Trying to please everyone will drive you crazy, so stay true to what is most important to you.”

THE HONEYMOON
The couple enjoyed two weeks of R&R in Europe, staying in both rented apartments and hotels: Hotel Calzaiuoli in Florence and Hotel Ariston in Rome.
