To mark the 100th anniversary of CHANEL N°5, the House is transforming Rockefeller Center into a historical journey and celebration of the iconic fragrance.

The open-to-the-public outdoor exhibition will honor the evolution of the fragrance with a week-long schedule of interactive experiences from November 6 – 12.

Surprises will abound as special events and performances are scheduled daily at 5 pm for the duration of the activation. ​

CHANEL N°5 was the first scent ever created by a woman and was an immediate success amongst the masses.

To this day, the scent remains the bestselling and most well-known fragrance in modern perfumery.

Beloved by all since its creation, N°5 takes its place among the stars in this captivating experience. ​

Attendees will be brought into the world of CHANEL N°5 as they enter from 5th Avenue through an installation of perfume bottles over the decades.

The House invites all to stroll through a compelling outdoor exhibition, learn the history of the storied fragrance, and have fun with the variety of activities in a uniquely festive ambiance.

Their journey will continue as they’re taken through a multi-sensory story of the famed fragrance, all leading to a special CHANEL N°5 photo moment amidst the legendary ice rink.

Guests will also have the opportunity to try their luck at N°5-inspired games. Those who venture off onto the ice can enjoy the N°5 In The Stars lounge apres-skate, along with complimentary hot chocolate and seasonal treats.

The celebratory event pays homage to a perfume that has defined and continues to define American culture since its inception.
