Art enthusiasts are psyched about this summer's opening of the Josh Moulton Fine Art Gallery in Lincoln Park.
The local artist's acrylic and watercolor paintings—previously only viewed as part of solo or group exhibitions around town—can now be conveniently appreciated under one roof. According to Moulton, his inspiration comes courtesy of the cities he loves best, like New Orleans, San Francisco, his father's hometown of NYC and Chicago, of course.
As for those Windy City works, many highlight popular downtown haunts in vibrant normalcy—think a vantage point beside the Bean or a floral stall at Green City Market or even the Armitage El station. Hmm... art really does imitate life. 2218 N. Clark St., 773.592.3434, joshmoulton.com
