More than 150 of Chicago’s finest restaurants, chefs and sommeliers gather Sept. 25-27 for cook-offs, gourmet tastings and an afterparty or two at Chicago Gourmet presented by Bon Appetit. Last year’s Chicago Gourmet attracted a crowd at Millennium Park for a weekend of food and entertainment.

1. Sept. 25: Hamburger Hop
Join local chefs at the official Chicago Gourmet kick-off event. Watch as they compete in a burger showdown while sampling delicious bites, beer, spirits and wine. 6pm. Tickets $125. Harris Theater Rooftop, 205 E. Randolph St.

2. Sept. 26: Punch Kings, Pigs n’ Tiki
Head to the Harris Rooftop for a tiki-inspired evening of punches and pork from 12 of Chicago’s top mixologists and 10 heritage pig farmers, the latter of whom will partner with notable chefs to present a unique spin on the traditional pig roast. 8pm. Tickets $75. 205 E. Randolph St.

3. Sept. 27: Rise and Shine Gourmet
Food, family and fitness unite for a morning of wellness at Maggie Daley Park with your choice of sunrise yoga led by Corepower Yoga or a run-walk with the Chicago Area Runners Association. After breaking a sweat, treat yourself to a well-earned brunch prepared by Lula Cafe’s Jason Hammel and Matthias Merges of Yusho. 8am. Tickets $15-$55. Maggie Daley Park, 337 E. Randolph St.
