It’s always a sweet day when the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation brings families together for the annual Be My Valentine event.
THE PARTY Love was in the air as partygoers enjoyed a lavish brunch at The Ritz-Carlton Chicago to benefit the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation. The Jesse White Tumblers entertained attendees of all ages at the family-friendly event. Hair braiding by Blo Blow Dry Bar and red-carpet photos by Sheri Whitko Photography made the day even more of a special treat. THE PEOPLE Co-chairs Julie Lampert and Jennifer Meyers greeted the 400-plus attendees who not only enjoyed the activities and food, but raised more than $90,000 for breast cancer research and programs at Northwestern Medicine. THE PINNACLE Bidding was fast and furious on the silent auction experiences, like two tickets to the Chicago opening night of Sara Bareilles’ Waitress with dinner at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab. A sweet ending to a fun-filled day. - Jacquelyn Lumley
