With the highly anticipated Kips Bay Decorator Show House heading to town next month, interior designer Pierce Jordan is a man on the move. Jordan and his business partner Evan Krenzien are set to participate in the lauded design event with their design firm Shane & Pierce, coming Nov. 7, where they certainly will dazzle design enthusiasts and creatives alike. “We have big goals to make a mark on Dallas with a style that is not commonly seen here,” shares Jordan on his collaborative venture with Krenzien. “We’re currently working on some incredible projects throughout the country: Dallas, Los Angeles, Palm Springs and Denver.” With a wealth of curiosity, a keen eye for design and a can-do spirit, Jordan is undoubtedly one to watch.
I would describe my style as understated, effortless, with a slight edge and comfortable.
If I could turn back time, I would tell myself to enjoy the process, take life a little less seriously, and be kinder to myself.
In the next year, I hope to learn something new outside of work, such as pottery or photography.
Attending culinary school is on my bucket list.
My passport is with me at all times.
You can never have enough dreams and aspirations.
Signature scent: Frédéric Malle’s Portrait of a Lady.
MICHAEL ANORUE

Over the past decade, Anorue has been pivotal in building and growing iconic brands within the spirits space. The father of two boys can often be spotted at a Dallas Mavericks game with his family when he’s not hustling around town for his role with Armand de Brignac. “I’m focused on being present with family and balancing the demands of a national role while making time for what matters most at home,” notes Anorue. With a heavy hand in the community, Anorue is involved with Genesis Women’s Shelter. “Each month, we visit the shelter to host cookouts for the women and children, helping to create a sense of comfort and community,” he shares. What’s on the horizon for this go-getter? Anorue notes: “Continuing to elevate Armand de Brignac’s presence in national retail and luxury on-premise, building on the momentum of successes. I want to expand my impact by leading large teams, shaping long-term brand strategy, and deepening relationships with key partners in the luxury hospitality and fine dining space.”
In three words, I would describe my style as sharp, timeless, polished.
If I could turn back time, I would tell myself to start giving back sooner. Community involvement is just as rewarding as career milestones.
Current obsession: The Joe Budden Podcast.
Best advice: Invest in relationships; they’ll shape your career more than any single deal.
You can never have enough NBA playoff basketball.
If I had three wishes, I would wish for endless good food and Champagne, VIP access to every adventure, and health and happiness for my family and loved ones.
STEVEN SPIETH

“My mom often reminds me that my first grade teacher told her I was all boy when I was younger,” notes Steven Spieth. This translates to the fact that Spieth was adventurous and full of energy at an early age, and it is clear that he has carried these admirable traits throughout his life. Spieth currently works in real estate as the director of sales at Maverick Golf & Ranch Club. The father of two young girls is also involved in the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation (named after his big brother). “The foundation hits four pillars,” he shares. “Special needs, junior golf, military families and pediatric cancer.”
In three words, I would describe my style as classic, clean, Texan.
The five things left on my bucket list are: backpack through Patagonia, fly-fish for peacock bass in the Amazon, start my own business, see the Broncos win a Super Bowl in person and watch my two daughters grow up.
With me at all times: my phone, unfortunately.
Best advice: Work hard and be nice to people. It’s simple but covers a lot.
If I had three wishes, I would wish for health, happiness and flexibility.
WES WHITSELL

You miss every shot you don’t take. This is the mantra for North Texas native Wes Whitsell, who recently took on the reins as executive chef for Georgie. With his sights set on bringing his farm-to-table roots and West Coast experience back to Dallas, Whitsell will work on seasonal menus, highlighting Texas-grown ingredients with a bit of flair from his travels all across the globe. When he’s not dishing out decadent fare at the restaurant, Whitsell can be found at some of his favorite spots around town, which include Bowen House, LDU Coffee, the Katy Trail or, if you know him well enough, at his parents’ house.
In three words, I would describe my style as relaxed, indie, rugged.
When I was a kid, I was skinny.
If I could turn back time, I would tell myself to smile more, don’t take things personally, and don’t be so hard on people—including myself.
In the next year, I hope to make many new Dallas friends, dial in the farm to produce more veggies, gain respect among my staff and make our guests happy.
Current obsession: finding the right place to live.
You can never have enough people who love you.
Signature scent: fryer oil.
