The art crowd convened at Dallas Contemporary for an exclusive look at three artists’ exhibitions.
THE PARTY On an unexpectedly chilly evening, Dallas art lovers huddled under heat lamps outside the Dallas Contemporary, sipping Roxor Artisan Gin and warm honey cocktails while discussing their favorite pieces from the latest exhibitions just inside the doors—Mary Katrantzou’s Mary, Queen of Prints, Valerine Keane’s The desire to be everything and Enoc Perez’ Liberty & Restraint. THE GUESTS Maxine Trowbridge, Barbara Daseke, Muffin Lemak, Shelby Wagner and Alexis Karavas Badami were in attendance previewing the Dallas Contemporary’s winter lineup before the public unveiling.
THE HIGHLIGHTS Deputy director and Chief Curator Justine Ludwig, along with the designer’s mother, Katerina Katrantzou, as well as Nasiba Hartland-Mackie and Deborah Scott, were spotted wearing Katrantzou’s creations, making for a colorful and kaleidoscopic night in the Design District! -krystal sarna
