Dallas art patrons flocked to Fashion Industry Gallery for the 10th annual Dallas Art Fair.
THE PARTY For four fun days, all of Dallas becomes a major art hub for national and international gallerists, dealers and collectors, with Fashion Industry Gallery sitting at the center as it plays host to the annual Dallas Art Fair. THE GUESTS The most important guests are the galleries: This year, locals such as And Now and Barry Whistler Gallery were in attendance, along with Hannah Hoffman, Karma, Marlborough Contemporary and, for the first time ever, Gagosian, which brought with it Piero Golia, making a triumphant return to Dallas after his popular 2015 show at the Nasher’s Chalet Dallas. THE HIGHLIGHTS The event kicked off with a preview gala benefiting the Dallas Museum of Art, Nasher Sculpture Center and Dallas Contemporary, where the most eager of collectors got first dibs on the art while sipping Ruinart. From there, it was three more days of artful conversation and creative purchasing. -Nadia Dabbakeh
