Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society’s DO at the Zoo took place under the stars, celebrating community, conservation, and connection. Guests, dressed in “Stay Wild” attire, enjoyed up-close encounters with some of the Zoo’s most charismatic residents, including Priscilla the African crested porcupine, Fern the sloth, Sammy the blue-and-gold macaw, great horned owl Hino, Pinecone the Florida pine snake, Florida panther Sassy, North American river otters Luna and Ollie, and the Zoo’s tiger trio–Api, Kadar and Olan. More than 450 wildlife enthusiasts, philanthropists, community leaders and epicureans attended the annual alfresco gathering. Elizabeth Safro, Robyn Tannenbaum and Carla Taylor served as chairs, with Ruth Baum and Dr. Dan Comerford as honorary chairs for the record-breaking evening. The event highlighted the Zoo’s conservation mission, from bird-friendly coffee and chocolate to eco-conscious dining. Support for DO at the Zoo directly aids wildlife protection locally and globally, underscoring the evening’s blend of celebration and meaningful impact.
