Sisters Dr. Lesley and Dr. Morgan Rabach of LM Medical combine efforts to ensure patients look and feel their best.
What first sparked your interest in beauty? LR: My maternal grandmother was a very beautiful and glamorous Italian woman. She took her beauty regimen very seriously. From a young age, my sister Morgan would watch her do her makeup and use creams for various things. She was always impeccably put together! She instructed us from a young age on various how-tos that are tried and true in the beauty handbook. MR: I used to sneak into my mom’s vanity on Sunday mornings when everyone was asleep, confiscate her face creams, and then use kitchen bowls to mix different concoctions together! This didn’t always go over well, especially when I got into a fancy eye cream she loved.

What made you go into practice together? MR: We both worked for different providers for a number of years and found we had a lot of common thoughts on what an ideal practice would feel like. We wanted to create an office culture to empower women and moms, and also have a style and pace where we could spend time with each person without the pressure of churning patients. There is so much overlap and synergy in our actual medical specialities, and our patients get additive benefits from us both being in the practice. For example, Dr. Lesley’s surgical patients have faster and better surgical recoveries and outcomes if their skin is optimized prior to face-lift surgery—and their result looks overall better too! LR: When patients know one of us, they trust our judgment on whether to see the other one for her specific area of expertise and vice versa. Sometimes, we do combined procedures! That is the most fun for us and the patients!
Does your connection as sisters come into play? MR: I think patients feel secure that we treat them as we would family and wouldn’t recommend something we wouldn’t do on ourselves.
