Parikh and his practice partner focus on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery (face, neck, eyelids, nose and ears), hair restoration, skincare and evidence-based wellness treatments. When are you the happiest?

When I’m with my family exploring the food and culture in a foreign country. I also love pushing myself to the maximum limit at the gym doing functional bodybuilding.

Best life advice you ever received?

Always be kind to people and do your best to put yourself in their shoes. If you make decisions with that in mind, life will steer you in the right direction—I learned this from my dad.

What is your greatest weakness?

I have a wicked sweet tooth, and even when I’m trying to eat super clean, it takes every ounce of energy not to reach for chocolate, ice cream or a cannoli.

What are the three simplest things people should do for their well-being?

Move as much as possible outdoors. Pay it forward. Try to meet and connect with someone new as often as you can.

My wife and I love to go to Post Ranch Inn (postranchinn.com) in Big Sur.
