When & Where

The US Open will take place from August 19 to September 8 at the iconic USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens. From August 19 to August 22, players will participate in qualifying matches, after which the first round of men’s and women’s singles begin on August 26. Tickets are purchased individually for each day of the tournament, with the first ticketed day being August 26. Tickets range in price, with grounds admission passes and seated tickets varying per day and location. See here for links to tickets for each day of the tournament.

Transportation

Now to get to the tournament! We highly recommend taking the 7 train or LIRR to Mets-Willets Point Station, though paid parking is also available. For train schedules, see here. For paid parking ($40 for vehicles, $80 for buses), see here. If you do choose to drive and park, reserve a spot online for a discounted rate at the Shops at Skyview, from which you can walk to the entry.

Food & Drink

The US Open is home to tons of delicious F&B offerings, from Van Leeuwen ice cream to fare by Chef Alex Guarnaschelli. The tournament is famed for its signature cocktail, the Honey Deuce, which can be found throughout the Open at Grey Goose bars, Bar Tartine and the Open Bar. See here for Grey Goose bar locations that serve the drink. We highly recommend visiting Pat LaFrieda Meat Co. for a quick bite or chef David Burke’s Mojito Restaurant and Bar for a sit-down meal. For a coffee, Lavazza Cafe is the obvious choice. Here’s an interactive map of the stadium to find your F&B option of choice.

Players

The draws and players will be announced on Thursday, August 22.
