THE PARTY A whopping 675 attendees mixed and mingled, along with seemingly endless sweets, at the aptly themed Chocolate Around the World seventh annual Big Island Chocolate Festival at the Hapuna Beach Resort, presented by the Kona Cacao Association. Guests nibbled on tasty bites at the event’s bevy of culinary stations aplenty. THE SCENE The Island’s chocolate experts brought their A-game as they whipped up confectionery creations—sweet, savory and everything in between—to be critiqued by a team of celebrity judges throughout the delicious two-day event.
