The Couple
After meeting in middle school, Emily and Joey met again at Baylor College of Medicine, where she was in the physician assistant program and he in the second year of medical school. Emily turned bright red—and so started the path to the white dress!

The Details
During the New Year’s Day ceremony, Emily wore an Anna Maier Ulla-Maija gown and a gold band that had been in every family wedding since 1937. The couple stood under a chuppah, topped by the groom’s grandfather’s prayer shawl.

The Party
Guests danced the night away in white flip-flops bearing the couple’s new monogram, before showering the newlyweds in rose petals at the end of a magical night.
