Seeking delicious holiday happenings? Here are five spirited dining out options for a warm family-friendly gathering this December.

1. Four Seasons Hotel Houston
Quattro’s gingerbread-themed afternoon tea takes place Dec. 2, 9, 16 and 23, 12PM-4PM. In addition to traditional tea offerings, expect activities for children such as cupcake decorating and gingerbread house building ($85 adults, $65 children under 12). 1300 Lamar St., 713.650.1300 

2. Hotel Granduca
The Holiday Children’s Tea invites children and adults. Tasty tea offerings include desserts, egg salad, lobster with caviar, chicken salad with cranberry, and shrimp salad. Tea time is from 3PM-5PM in stylish Ristorante Cavour. 1080 Uptown Park Blvd., 713.418.1000

3. La Table
From Dec. 9-24, La Table will host Brunch with Santa every Saturday and Sunday at 10AM. Christmas Eve dinner brings a special a la carte menu with items like wild striped sea bass with Osetra caviar and Champagne sauce. 4. Picos

5. St. Regis Hotel
Afternoon tea service is a time-honored tradition with a menu of petit fours, tea sandwiches, a spot of Champagne, scones and Devonshire cream.
