SOZO SUSHI LOUNGE
1700 Post Oak Blvd., 1-250 Houston, TX 77056 832.659.0613

Sozo Sushi Lounge is focused on bringing their customers the freshest sushi, most inventive drinks and a cool and elegant atmosphere for socializing.

Sozo, which translates to “creation”, is more than just a name—It is something that they truly believe in. Quality ingredients, attention to detail and focus on the culinary seasons of Japan are the keys to their establishment.

Manager Phillip Wimer and Chef David Cai have worked side by side for the last 3 years. Chef Cai’s experience began as a Sushi Chef in a Las Vegas casino, after which he opened a successful Sushi restaurant in Reno. Phillip began his career out of high school at age 17, first as a bartender, and eventually as a restaurant manager. By the end of 2017, he will have helped open 20 restaurants. They both bring an extensive knowledge of fish and creativity, which translates to a Traditional Sushi menu focused on the freshest quality fish and a forward thinking bar that includes cool and eclectic sakes, wines and a variety of mixology drinks.

Located in Uptown/Galleria, Sozo Sushi Lounge is the perfect place to host any event or happy hour. Their private dining room can hold up to 24 comfortably, or split with a partition into 2 spaces, accommodating 12 guests comfortably with access to a private door for entry. The patio is a popular gathering place for trendsetters to sip on lychee martinis.
