One Museum Place Grand Opening
John Wieland and his team hosted a beautiful celebration and dedication of the opening of his long-anticipated One Museum Place luxury condo development across the street from the High Museum of Art on Peachtree Street in Midtown. The event featured a dinner catered by Jerry Dilts Catering, live entertainment by the Roy Mitchell Band, and remarks by Mr. Wieland who said, “Every city has one truly great luxury condominium. There is no doubt in my mind that One Museum Place is that condominium development for Atlanta.” The developer introduced the project’s architect, Merrill Elam, and said, “There is a difference between architecture and a building. The High Museum and One Museum Place are not just buildings. They are great architecture.”
Mr. Wieland and his team and their guests, High Museum of Art Director Rand Suffolk, new homeowners and their guests gathered for a tour of the sales model as well as an elegant dinner in one of the 44 residences. Twenty-Four units have been sold and homeowners are starting to move into the condos which range from 1,700 square feet to 5,000 square feet. Pricing begins at $1M. The luxury condos feature private garages, direct service elevators, Gaggenau appliances, Waterworks plumbing fixtures, and a choice of cabinet designs. Most residences include covered porches with outdoor kitchens. An owners lounge includes a juice bar, yoga studio, fitness center, bar and catering kitchen.
Wieland thanked everyone who worked on the project including One Museum Place Developer and Principal Randy Shields, Architects Merrill Elam and Mack Scogin, Georgia Tech Architect Annie McCarthy, Project Manager Brian McBride, Landscape Architect Susan Stainback, Sales Manager Kendra Carter, Attorney Seth Weissman, and Event Manager Wynne Bolton.
