For the 62nd Annual Designight, architectural firms celebrated The Design Excellence Awards honoring outstanding work from Chicago architecture firms for projects throughout the world. The Design Excellence Awards honor recipients of the following: Distinguish Building Award, Interior Architecture Award, Divine Detail Award, The Ten-Year Award, and the Carol Ross Barney, FAIA, Recipient of The 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award. The Grand Ballroom, where the event took place, reflected the prestigious nature of the award filling the air with sophistication and a form of celebration.
