Froehliche Weihnachten (Merry Christmas)
Celebrate Christmas, or Weihnachten, the German way at Der Biergarten’s Nikolaustag Holiday Celebration on Dec. 8 from 5 to 7:30PM. Get in the holiday spirit with food and beer specials, beer pong on the patio, music and a round of the German tradition “hide the pickle,” all under tons of festive décor.

Visions of Sugar Plums
The Atlanta Ballet presents its annual holiday hit the Nutcracker onstage at the Fox Theater. You’ll be in awe of the 20 pounds of (faux) snow, 8 tons of scenery, a 38-foot-tall Christmas tree and, of course, the graceful dancing. Dec. 8 through Dec. 24.

Santa Baby
Hum along to some of your favorite Christmas tunes with the divas of Serenbe Playhouse in their new holiday cabaret, A Diva’s Christmas. The Divas will be singing their hearts out at locations all over the city; catch them Dec. 10 downtown at Livingston at 9PM.

Festive Refreshments
Take a break from the chaotic holiday shopping and relax with a soothing cup of tea at The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead’s Holiday Afternoon Tea. Enjoy savory sandwiches, scrumptious sweets, musical entertainment and caroling by the Dickens Singers. Dec. 9, 10 and 11 at 1:30PM, 2:30PM and 3:30PM.

Be Merry
Spread holiday cheer and embrace the fun of the season at Chicks in Atlanta’s Holiday Party at Fado Irish Pub, held Dec. 8 at 7PM.
