“My first role was working in Thelma Golden’s office at The Studio Museum in Harlem. It changed my life forever,” says Kimberly Drew, who earlier this year became associate director at Pace Gallery. “Over the course of my career, I’ve always been driven by opportunities to work alongside artists and in support of bringing new audiences to the world of contemporary art. Pace is a space that is vast in its offerings and always adapting and innovating,” Drew says. “This September, Pace is pleased to be opening solo exhibitions of works by Beatriz Milhazes, Antoni Tàpies, Rafael Lozano-Hemmer and Kohei Nawa at its Chelsea flagship in New York. These presentations will officially be open to the public on Sept. 16.” We asked the author and arbiter for a curated look through her lens.
