The Race to Erase MS gala marked its 25th year with an all-star celebration of hope, love and triumph.
THE PARTY Friends from near and far turned out to support philanthropist Nancy Davis during her annual Race to Erase MS gala April 20 at The Beverly Hilton. THE SCENE Rumer Willis, Anne Heche, and Avril Lavigne were among the famous faces in attendance, while Aaron Paul and wife Lauren came out in honor of Lauren’s father, who was diagnosed with the disease. MS survivor Jack Osbourne and sister Kelly Osbourne kicked off the live auction, and Nancy Davis shared how her own diagnosis inspired her to dedicate her life to research for the disease. THE HIGHLIGHTS Between a fashion show, a Flo Rida performance and a moving rendition of “Lean on Me,” guests were well-entertained. By the evening’s end, more than $1.75 million was raised to help the efforts of Race to Erase MS. -Shontel Horne
