The stars showed up for the Seventh Biennial UNICEF Ball April 14 at The Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
THE PARTY Approximately 600 guest turned out for the UNICEF Ball, a biennial benefit gala that raised more than $2.3 million to help UNICEF’s efforts. THE SCENE Celebrities like Alyssa Milano, Molly Sims and Jane Fonda showered UNICEF with love and support at the black-tie event. Keegan-Michael Key brought the laughs as the emcee for the evening, which honored humanitarians Salma Hayek Pinault and power couple Nicole Avant and Ted Sarandos. THE HIGHLIGHTS Honoree Pinault captivated the room during a 15-minute speech in which she shared how working with UNICEF has impacted her life. Eight-year-old Syrian author Bana al-Abed took to the stage to remind the audience that all children deserve to grow up in peace; and Pharrell Williams closed out the event with high-energy performances of some of his greatest hits. -Shontel Horne
