Turnberry Isle celebrated the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art facility, Âme Spa & Wellness Collective, with an Âme-azing Saturday on January 28. The all-day retreat took place on the front lawn of the resort, where hundreds of people gathered to enjoy and participate in fitness classes, workshops and activities, which concluded with an awe-inspiring yoga class to a live performance by the New World Symphony. Following the daylong celebration, an intimate and exclusive 60-person dinner was hosted by Jackie Soffer, Amy Shapiro, Matthew Kenney and Dr. Craig Tanio of Rezilir Health™, under the resort’s century-old Banyan tree.
Showcasing Âme’s unique approach to wellness, guests were treated to various services as a part of a seven-station Chakra course. Anchored by a 31-foot teepee, the Chakra course offered mini massages, sound, color and vibration therapy, a himalayan salt room, tarot card reading, makeovers, acupuncture, cupping and more. An array of fitness classes took place for guests of all fitness levels ranging from Kellen Lemos’ circuit training and Magen Banwart’s yin yoga, to high intensity interval training and remix dance classes taught by Chris Cruz of Y100.
Guests of the evening included: Jackie Soffer, Craig Robbins, Vice President and Managing Director of Turnberry Isle Miami, Jeff Klein, hosts Matthew Kenney, Amy Shapiro, and Rezilir Health’s Dr. Craig Tanio, CEO and Founder of the Gharieni Group, Sammy Gharieni, Magen Banwart, Chris Adamo, Tom Austin, Jenny Starr Perez, CMO of Turnberry Isle Miami, Alan Phillips, Dr. Vladimir Turovskiy, Jourdan and Lorelle Binder, Maile and Mark Gamez, and Iman Hassan.
