Louis Vuitton scores a retail coup with its FIFA World Cup pop-up.
THE OCCASION Soccer and fashion fans turned out en masse for Louis Vuitton’s Paradise Plaza pop-up in the Design District, a temporary shop of the brand’s special collection inspired by the 2018 FIFA World Cup. THE CROWD Notable attendees at the opening included Andres Fanjul, Caroline Vreeland, Rachael Russell and Soledad and Justin Lowe. THE HIGHLIGHTS In addition to the actual retail space filled with items that ran the gamut from backpacks and wallets to travel trunks, the pop-up featured an outdoor field where all the matches of the tournament were streamed, as well as a mirrored photo booth (shaped like a soccer ball, of course) that was the site of thousands of Instagram selfies. -Michael Muzquiz
