The second edition of the Pegasus World Cup Invitational makes a case for equestrian excellence.
THE OCCASION Celebrities and VIPs gathered once again for the second installment of the Pegasus World Cup Invitational, a spectacle where equestrian sportsmanship and celebration collided. THE CROWD Dubbed “the World’s Richest Thoroughbred Horse Race” as a nod to its $16 million winning purse, the event drew the likes of Pharrell Williams, Wilmer Valderrama, Carson Kressley, Olivia Culpo, Ingrid Hoffmann and many others. THE HIGHLIGHTS There were many memorable moments throughout the day, and prime among them was the big win by Gun Runner and jockey Florent Geroux. Before that, it was all about the LIV Boardwalk Village pop-up, an entertainment experience created by Pegasus founder Belinda Stronach and nightlife impresario David Grutman that was the event’s hot ticket. As Stronach put it, “This Invitational was everything we hoped for and more!” -Michael Muzquiz
