Good Cheer

Fall is in the air—no doubt about that—and as the holiday season approaches, our cocktail palate inevitable changes. Check out these five autumn libations for seasonal good cheer.

The Angry Creamsicle at BLT Prime is anything but.

1. Anger Management
BLT Prime has reinvented a childhood favorite as an ideal autumn aperitif. The Angry Creamsicle ($15) consists of Diplomatico rum, pumpkin syrup, triple sec, lime juice and ground spicy pumpkin seeds. Served up, of course! Trump Doral, 4400 NW 87th Ave., Doral, 305.591.6606

2. Tuning In
Fall and the holidays are all about bringing loved ones together, and whether you’re near or far from home, The Family Gathering ($12) at Radio Bar is sure to bring back memories of Mom’s kitchen. Reminiscent of banana-nut bread (in a glass), the drink features Rémy Martin VSOP, pink citrus, banana nut and, for the finishing touch, a granola rim. 814 First St., Miami Beach, 305.397.8382

3. Patch Perfect
The Pumpkin Patch ($15) takes liquid form in the hands of the masters at The Dutch with Laird’s Applejack brandy, fresh pumpkin puree, Cointreau and rosemary. Make ours a double. W Hotel South Beach, 2201 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 305.938.3111

4. Perked Up
Already a fan favorite, Tongue & Cheek’s Pumpkin Coffee ($15) combines Tito’s Vodka, Baileys Irish Cream, Frangelico, espresso and pumpkin, and is then finished off with pumpkin whipped cream and candied pumpkin seeds. That’s a coffee break worth savoring morning, noon or night. 431 Washington Ave., Miami Beach, 305.704.2900

5. High Spirits
Sure to put you in a holiday mood, Batch Gastropub’s Boondock Saint ($13) is a mix of pecan and Madagascar vanilla-infused Jameson Irish Whiskey, house-made marshmallow root sour mix and egg whites (optional), and is garnished with a cherry on top—a most appropriate touch. 30 SW 12th St., Miami, 305.808.5555
