With 1.7 million followers on Instagram, Miranda Wilson knows how to turn heads. The aesthetic nurse practitioner, who began her career on a medical-surgical telemetry floor specializing in orthopedics, transitioned from the hospital to the medspa nearly a decade ago. “For several years, I balanced three 12-hour hospital shifts with two to three days at the medspa,” says the San Juan Capistrano resident. “After five years, I returned to school to earn my master’s degree and become a family nurse practitioner, then transitioned to working full-time in aesthetics.”

These days, Wilson sees patients at Newport Skin and Wellness while documenting her fitness and beauty secrets alongside everyday life with her fiancé on her burgeoning social media platforms. “Beauty and fitness have always been deeply personal to me. My mom taught me at a young age to take care of my body, which is a big reason I became a nurse in the first place,” she says. “Being able to combine my medical education with aesthetics has allowed me to help people look and feel their best in a thoughtful, holistic way.”

In 2026, she hopes to launch her own skincare brand, something she’s dreamt about for years. “Being able to impact people beyond the treatment room and on a global scale would be incredibly fulfilling,” Wilson notes.

When she’s not expanding her business, she’s working on something a bit more personal—a September wedding in Lake Garda, Italy. “My fiancé and I have been together for 12 years, so finally tying the knot feels especially meaningful.”

Here, Wilson reveals the road map to her ultimate day of wellness in Orange County.
