The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago held its annual Visionary Luncheon, honoring leadership in the arts and celebrating the museum’s educational initiatives.

Nearly 350 guests attended the luncheon, which featured a conversation between Pritzker Director Madeleine Grynsztejn and artist Sarah Sze on her work, her MCA solo debut and the role of museums in shaping the art experience. During the event, BMO Bank N.A. received the 2024 Arts Philanthropy Award for its support of arts education, with President and CEO Darrel Hackett accepting on behalf of the bank. The award also honored Hackett along with MCA Trustee Nickol Hackett for their significant contributions to Chicago’s arts community.
