Natalie & Alaric, February 8, 2026, Miami Beach, Florida

Natalie Goldman and Alaric Bruning‘s story began over Halloween weekend five years ago, when Natalie arrived in a playful ’80s workout costume while Alaric skipped the costume altogether and simply came as himself. What started as a quirky first impression quickly evolved into a connection rooted in their shared love of dogs, nature and the outdoors. As their relationship deepened, the couple made countless memories together—from adventures with their beloved goddogs, Mattias and Koby, to evenings filled with music, art and great company.

On March 8, 2024, Alaric planned the ultimate surprise by proposing to Natalie on his birthday at South Pointe Park in Miami. Beneath the glow of the sunset near the park’s historic fountains, he chose a spot with lasting significance, telling Natalie that no matter how much time passed, they could always return there together.

The couple chose the W South Beach for their wedding weekend, a venue tied to an early memory in their relationship after sharing one of their first dinners together at The Grove at the W. “Being able to get married on the beach at sunset was a dream come true,” Natalie says. The ceremony honored Jewish traditions and included several personal touches, including the bride’s niece serving as flower girl and the couple’s beloved goddog acting as ring bearer alongside the best man. One of the pair’s favorite moments came when their four-legged companion eagerly joined them at the altar.

Following the ceremony, guests gathered at The Grove at the W for cocktail hour and dinner, where an elaborate taco bar awaited. Dessert proved equally memorable thanks to a five-tier wedding cake created by the bride’s mother, Zahava Goldman, with each tier showcasing a different flavor combination and adorned with entirely edible details, including handcrafted sugar flowers and pearls.

The celebration continued at Mary Lou’s, the newly debuted cocktail lounge and music venue inside the W South Beach. The Studio 54-inspired setting came alive with chartreuse and olive-toned florals designed to glow at golden hour alongside driftwood accents, ceramic vessels and locally inspired blooms, including roses, orchids, palms and proteas. Late into the evening, guests danced to music by Patafunk and DJ Onoma, snapped memories at the Polaroid booth and gathered back at the Sagamore penthouse, where the festivities carried on with friends and family who had traveled to Miami to celebrate the couple’s next chapter together.
