Raise a glass to two new menu updates that will satiate both your eyes and palate.

1. Fashion Island Hotel is toasting its stylish new name with haute couture cocktail menus at Oak Grill and Aqua Lounge that pay homage to fashion industry greats. Think pink with the Coco No. 5, a nod to Coco Chanel’s famed Chanel No. 5 fragrance, featuring Nolet’s gin, lime juice simple syrup and a dehydrated lemon wheel garnish, or cool off with a refreshing Dior cocktail spiked with Plymouth Gin, lime juice, simple syrup and mint.

2. Over at Monarch Beach Resort, AVEO Table + Bar’s executive pastry chef, Jamon Harper, has whipped up an experiential menu of artful desserts. “There’a story behind every ingredient we use. These desserts are an expressive celebration of the craftsmanship and quality behind each ingredient,” says Harper. “This is a menu of playful throwbacks, where iconic indulgences are transformed into nostalgic novelties.” Those sweet treats include the S’mores Aroma Experience (a tableside unveiling of chocolate cremeaux, a raspberry marshmallow moon pie and chile hot chocolate that sends a plume of hickory smoke into the air) and the oversize chocolate-hazelnut Rocher that’s gilded with 23K gold leaf. Go ahead, dig in.
