What first inspired you to get involved with photography?

I’ve had a love for photography ever since I was a kid. I used to run around taking pictures of clouds and flowers with my iPod Touch. My parents are really the ones that kept pushing me to pursue my dreams of being a professional photographer. Throughout time I found myself getting more involved in the fashion, sports and music worlds trying to make a name for myself.

One of the key goals I’ve always had since I was young is to change the world. And I feel like my photography has the power to do so. One of the highlights of my career was during the 2020 pandemic. I started a project called ‘porch portraits’ where I’d photograph families on their front porches from a distance. All the proceeds from that project went to NJPRF (New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund). I was acknowledged by Governor Phil Murphy of New Jersey during his pandemic press conference on television for my efforts. Giving back to my community and those in need is something I believe I can do as a photographer, even if it’s just making someone smile.

What subjects inspire you around NYC?

NYC is easily my favorite place to photograph. There’s so much life and personality in the city, it really allows my creativity to flow. From the people to the scenery, the possibilities are endless in NYC when it comes to photography.

What projects are you currently working on or what news can we buzz?

I’m going to continue working with big names to provide photos and showcase my work. The goal is always to make a bigger name for myself while also giving back to my community and those in need. Expect to see my photography around the city a lot more often. I want my name to be known and mean something. That is how I will have known I left my mark on this world.
