Epic Pride Night: Boom Boom Room Reopens at The Standard

Everyone has a story about an iconic night at the Standard Hotel. Whether you found yourself in the pool at Le Bain, or rubbing elbows with A-listers at a Boom Boom Room after party, the Standard is the place everyone wants to be seen.

While most of NYC and its party venues have reopened to some extent, the doors to Boom Boom Room have remained closed to the dismay of many--until tonight.

In conjunction with PRIDE weekend, Boom Boom Room reopens one night only Thursday, June 24, for a party dreamed up by legendary NYC DJs. Pride x Boom is the brainchild of The Misshapes, The Standard’s Corey Tuttle and creative director and photographer Ricardo Gomes, and it’s taking over the entire 18 floor of the hotel.

The fabulous hosts have spared no creative detail, bringing together some of the top names in fashion and music for a show-stopping night no one will soon forget.

Confirmed artists include Grammy-winning producer Kaytranada, DJ and global fashion icon Honey Dijon and of course, the Misshapes themselves. In typical Standard fashion, there are likely to be some jaw-dropping surprises along the way.

It’s not all fun and games though. The party kicks off a four-day online auction with some incredible fashion gets, curated by host Geordon Nicol, collected from some of fashion's most enviable brands. Snag up some wares by Supreme, Hood By Air, Louis Vuitton, The Standard, Telfar, Moschino, Jeremy Scott and plenty more.

The fundraiser ends Sunday, June 27, with proceeds set to benefit the Hetrick Martin Institute, an organization that strives to provide a safe and supportive environment for young members of the LGBTQI+ community. If you can’t attend tonight's fete, you can still get involved to help support this amazing organization and its mission.
