Kaiser Permanente Mission Bay Opening
On Friday, February 26, Kaiser Permanente hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony and sneak preview of its newest medical office building in Mission Bay. On hand for the celebration were San Francisco Mayor Edwin Lee; Bernard J. Tyson, Chairman and CEO, Kaiser Permanente; Gregory A. Adams, Regional President of Northern California, Kaiser Permanente; Robert Pearl, MD, Executive Medical Director & CEO, The Permanente Medical Group; and other elected officials.
Guests enjoyed appetizers and an elegant lunch served by McCalls Catering. Afterwards, attendees had the opportunity to choose organic and locally grown produce at the pop-up Farmers' Market, produced for the event by San Francisco's own Bi-Rite Market.
Kaiser Permanente’s Mission Bay Medical Offices are designed to enhance the care experience by using technology and space to make getting medical care easier, more convenient, and focused on choice.
Doors officially open on Tuesday, March 8.
