The Sama Gala was was held on November 14th at San Francisco's imaginative Exploratorium and was an event to benefit the Sama Group enterprises; Samasource, Samahope and SamaUSA. The Sama Gala was a night to drink, dance and do good and brought together some of the Bay Area’s most influential people representing a diverse collection of industries including tech, politics and entertainment. Guests were welcomed by a gospel choir and enjoyed a live auction, delicious food and drink, and music by Rob Garza from Thievery Corporation. The event recognized $1M in donations, which will directly benefit Samasource workers, Samahope patients, and SamaUSA students.
