The Arthritis Foundation's Bone Bash2018
On Saturday, October 27th, The Palace Hotel was filled with party goers from young executives to sophisticated socialites in elegant attire for the inaugural Bone Bash, An Evening in Disguise. It was a sell-out success with a wait list to raise funds for The Arthritis Foundation. Inaugural Chair Sharon Seto set the stage for all revelers to experience firsthand the mystery that for centuries has surrounded the Masquerade Ball. Guests enjoyed an evening of mystery filled with delicious drinks, exquisite dinner, spirited dancing, a Casino Mystique, and a jaw-dropping silent and live auction. The Arthritis Foundation was proud to award Dr. Emily von Scheven, UCSF, The Medical Award of Excellence. Jeffrey Gottfurcht was awarded The Champion of Yes Award in recognition for being the only person in the world to scale Mt. Everest with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
