Getting Lit: Bookish Cocktails Coming to the Ferry Building

On February 15, the annual Cocktails of the Farmers Market returns with a menu of literary-themed libations.

CUESA’s Cocktails of the Farmers Market takes place in the Grand Hall of the Ferry Building.

The Center for Urban Education About Sustainable Agriculture is making February just a little bit more bearable on February 15, when its Cocktails of the Farmers Market series returns to the Ferry Building’s Grand Hall for its winter installment. Hosted in collaboration with the Friends of the San Francisco Public Library, the evening will feature a slew of literary-themed libations, which, in a boon for pun aficionados, will sport names like Infinite Zest and a Tale of Two Citruses.

Numerous bartenders will be on hand to showcase seasonal produce from the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market; the lineup includes Whitechapel’s Megan Daniel, the Devil’s Acre’s Brandon Sass, and Janice Bailon, who does double duty at the Perennial and Bourbon & Branch. Each ticket buys you three cocktails; their proceeds benefit programs at both CUESA and the United States Bartenders Guild.
