Sam’s Diner owner Jeannie Kim and Bruce Paton, the so-called Beer Chef, will open this 1,600-square-foot beer-focused restaurant and bar; expect 25 beers on tap. 1230 Market St. (near 8th St.)

The team behind Causwells and Popsons will open a Cajun restaurant in the former Hapa Ramen location; look for dirty rice and shrimp and grits. 2293 Mission St.(near 19th St.)

Finn Town
ETA: Fall 2016
As the use of the Castro’s 19th-century name implies, this restaurant from Ryan Scott will evoke the neighborhood’s bygone days; think crab tater tots and strong cocktails. 2251 Market St. (near Sanchez St.)

ETA: September 2016
Husband-and-wife team Sean and Katherine Lim will open this 2,400-square-foot udon shop in the Uber building; count on fresh homemade noodles. 1455 Market St. (near 11th St.)
